What We’re Building Together
Return to Her is a sanctuary being built for the women who are tired of just surviving.
The ones who’ve carried grief, burnout, silence, or shame.
The ones who’ve taken care of everyone else—and have not had opportunities to receive.
We’re creating a retreat where women can reclaim themselves, reconnect, and be held in sacred sisterhood.
Not just for a weekend—but as a quiet rebellion:
You are allowed to rest.
This campaign is how we build it.
Brick by brick. Breath by breath.
Together.

Why Return to Her
Women are tired of surviving.
Of giving more than they receive.
Of carrying grief and burnout in silence.

Return to Her is not just a place — it’s the beginning of a movement.
It’s an investment in a larger community of women
who are ready to resist the system that keeps us too busy
to truly remember who we are.

Resting sends a message to the world — to our communities,
and to other women in need of rest —
that it is time for us to lay it down,
to reflect on how we want to live,
and how we want to be seen going forward.

It is a declaration that we were not made to be in constant servitude
to systems that were not built for us to thrive.
(Why this has never been done before...)

Voices of Support
When I first shared my vision for Return to Her, I invited a few friends and colleagues to offer their support—through words, encouragement, or a letter.

What I received was deeply moving: a flood of warmth, belief, and trust—not just in the retreat, but in me.

I’m profoundly grateful to each person who offered their voice. These messages have become part of the foundation of an entire movement. - Becky
“By building this sanctuary for women, this project will provide critical support to those in our community who are most in need of rest and stillness.”
— Roughiatou Ngaide, CEO, TransFulani LLC
“Her vision for this retreat is deeply aligned with who she is—and I believe it will offer real value to the women it’s designed to serve.”
— Mandy M.
“Supporting Return to Her feels deeply personal—not just because I love her, but because I’ve witnessed the way she shows up for women, time and time again, with compassion, strength, and a rare kind of tenderness that can only come from someone who truly listens and cares.”
— Teena M.
“Becky is an authentic person. She is open and honest about the difficulties she has had in her life, and it allows others to feel safe being open. I couldn’t help but be inspired by her resilience. She is a fierce advocate for women, with a kind and empathetic heart.”
— Ashleigh C.

Who is This For?
Return to Her is for the woman who:
• Has been surviving more than living
• Feels weary from carrying what no one sees
• Has given endlessly but struggles to receive
• Knows she needs rest but feels guilty asking for it
• Has walked through grief, burnout, spiritual harm, or betrayal
• Longs for connection, creativity, and softness
• Wants to remember who she is, and feel safe doing it

You don’t have to be “healed” to be here.
You just have to be ready to return.

Meet the Founder

I am building Return to Her because I know what it means to survive when everything around you says you’re supposed to hold it all together.
This photo was taken in May of 2012, the day I graduated college — with my three little boys, the absolute loves of my life, swirling around me in beautiful, wild chaos. I had come through abuse, grief, custody battles, single motherhood, and systems that were never built to hold me.
I fought for that day. I fought to reclaim my life. And now, I’ve built this retreat for women who are still fighting — or finally ready to stop.
Return to Her isn’t a luxury getaway. It’s a sanctuary. A place to breathe, to grieve, to exhale — and to come home to yourself.

Emotional Safety & Sacred Space
Our retreat will be peer-based and trauma-informed, designed for emotional restoration—not diagnosis or therapy. While we will not be a licensed mental health center, we will take emotional safety seriously.
All staff will be trained in trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and compassionate boundaries. We will also consult with a licensed clinical advisor to help shape safe and ethical practices behind the scenes.
Every guest will receive a Resource Guide with mental health referrals, crisis support lines, and virtual therapy options. We exist to complement—not replace—formal therapy, and our programming will be rooted in community care, somatic healing, creativity, and sisterhood.
