To the Woman Who Had to Fight to Be Called Woman

You didn’t grow up seeing yourself reflected in the stories they told.
You had to fight for your name.
For your pronouns.
For your right to take up space as who you are.

You’ve been questioned.
Dismissed.
Erased.
And still, you rise.

You are not “too much.”
You are not “confusing.”
You are not “asking for it.”

You are a woman.
Not because the world gave you permission—
but because your soul said so.

And that is sacred.

You belong here.
Not just as a guest,
but as a sister.
As a leader.
As someone whose presence makes this circle more whole.

We see your beauty.
We see your courage.
We see the road you walked to get here.

And we will never ask you to justify your womanhood.
Not with your body.
Not with your pain.
Not with your past.

Here, you are not tolerated.
You are adored.

Come rest, woman.
Come receive.
Come feel what it’s like to be held without question.
You’ve earned more than survival.
You’ve earned joy.
